Frequently asked questions
Where are my scanned letters stored?
All letters and PDFs live exclusively on your iPhone — never in the cloud. If you delete the app, the letters are gone. Email important documents to yourself so you have a backup.
How do I buy "ad-free"?
Tap "Buy ad-free" inside the ad screen, or go to Settings → Go ad-free. It's a one-time €5 purchase via Apple's App Store. No subscription.
My ad-free purchase disappeared after reinstalling
Tap Settings → About → Restore purchases. Apple recognizes your earlier purchase automatically.
The camera doesn't detect my document well
Make sure there's good light and the document sits on a contrasting surface (e.g. a letter on a wooden table). If detection is off, you can drag the four corners by hand — the magnifier helps you place them precisely.
How do I send a PDF by email or WhatsApp?
After scanning, tap Save and send. Then choose Send by email or Send via WhatsApp — the app opens the appropriate app with the PDF attached.
Multiple pages in one PDF?
Yes. After each photo, tap Add another page. All pages combine into the same PDF automatically.
Does the app work without internet?
Yes, fully. The only feature that needs internet is the ad in the free mode. The ad-free version is fully offline.
Can I use the app in German?
Yes. Settings → Language → Deutsch.
